Job Description
Truck and Coach Mechanic (NOC 72410) – Emcon Services Inc. is a permanent full‑time position located at 121 West Hill Court, Lively, ON. The role involves maintenance and upkeep of all vehicles, trucks and heavy equipment for highway maintenance activities. The position is unionized.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and test mechanical units, such as engines, transmissions, axles and brake systems.
- Locate faults and malfunctions on equipment and trucks and trailers, both in the shop and on field calls.
- Inspect, repair and maintain the fleet of equipment, including electrical and electronic systems, engines, transmissions, clutches, drive shafts, axles, body and trim, frames, hitching/coupling system, steering, suspension, computer control, tires, wheels and hubs, braking systems (air supply and hydraulic), heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems.
