Job Description
Position: Transportation Coordinator
Salary: AED
Location: Abu Dhabi
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods and materials, including route planning, scheduling, and tracking shipments
- Liaise with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure on‑time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise
- Monitor and maintain transportation equipment, including trucks, trailers, and other vehicles, to ensure they are in good working condition
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including fuel usage, mileage, and delivery times
- Prepare and analyze transportation reports to identify areas for improvement and cost‑saving opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationships with transportation service providers to negotiate competitive rates and ensure quality service
