Transport Assistant
Org. Setting and Reporting
This position is located in Ain Ziouani within the Transport Section of the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF). The incumbent will report to Transport Officer.
Responsibilities
- Managing the expendable items of the Transport Section, including the acquisition, receipt and usage of spare parts and lubricants used in the TPT workshops.
- Preparing requisitions of expendable items and POL products for the regular resupply of the TPT Stores supporting the workshop at Camp Ziouani for vehicle repair and maintenance.
- Preparing Service Order in UMOJA related to the maintenance and repairs in the workshop.
- Preparing lists of expendables to be ordered through the Supply Chain Management requisitioning unit.
- Following up with the Supply Chain Management units and Supply Section regarding the delivery of items ordered.
