Job Description
The Transition Project Manager is responsible for planning and executing complex IT service transitions, primarily involving the migration of applications, infrastructure, or service scope from one supplier/vendor to another within a large, global enterprise environment.
This role is critical in ensuring service continuity, operational stability, and knowledge transfer during supplier transitions and early-life support phases. The role requires a seasoned project manager with strong judgement, credibility with senior stakeholders, and hands-on experience managing large-scale transitions, IT transformations, and application rationalization initiatives.
The Transition Project Manager operates in a multi-vendor, global delivery model, working closely with internal IT, business stakeholders, outgoing and incoming suppliers, and program governance teams to deliver transitions on time, within scope, and with minimized risk.
