Job Description

Role purpose: To provide leadership and supervision to a team of approximately 80 Transit Operators, ensuring safe and efficient transit operations that meet passenger needs across the Sea to Sky Region. This role supports the organizational culture of safety, inclusivity, and excellence in service delivery.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Several years' experience as a Transit Operator with supervisory experience preferred; candidates with management or supervisory experience in related fields considered

  • Demonstrated aptitude for conflict resolution and customer service

  • Class 1 or Class 2 driver's license with air brake endorsement

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) is an asset

  • Experience in transit scheduling considered an asset
