Job Description
Lead safe train operations as a Trainmaster with CPKC, North America’s premier transnational railroad. Ensure fluidity in yard and road movements while advocating a strong safety culture.
The Trainmaster role is essential for delivering efficient movement of traffic within road territory and yard-terminal operations. You will be responsible for overseeing train movements, ensuring safe execution of Local Service Operating Plan (LOSP) and Operating Plan (OP). Strong leadership is key as you will coach Train & Engine employees and enhance operational standards across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with partners to improve yard fluidity
• Supervise train movements for safety and compliance
• Manage safety and productivity metrics effectively
• Lead safety compliance initiatives within the terminal
• Conduct investigations and recommend corrective actions
