About the Role

As a Trainee Cable Technician, you’ll embark on a 12-month, fully paid training programme based at our dedicated Jointing School in Eastleigh, Hampshire. You’ll learn from industry experts and gain practical skills in:

XLPE cable installation

Servicing and repairing fluid-filled cables

Braising, welding, and lead plumbing

High voltage cable jointing and terminating (elastomeric and fluid-filled)

Cable system maintenance

Upon successful completion, you’ll have the opportunity for further training and a clear pathway to become a fully qualified Cable Technician.
