Your main tasks as a trainee areĀ assistingĀ in e.g.
Various work connected with archaeological field work: drawing excavation mapsĀ (ArcGIS or QGIS), cataloging archaeological finds,Ā sketchingĀ andĀ finalizingĀ images forĀ reportsĀ articles (Photoshop and Illustrator),Ā assistingĀ with field exercisesĀ (surveyor's level, digital cameras, total station etc.)Ā
Various work connected toĀ publishing,Ā researchĀ databasesĀ and data storage:Ā Scanning,Ā organizingĀ and storing photographs and slides,Ā drawinĀ illustrations, organizing reference lists,Ā andĀ digitizingĀ photoĀ and text archives.
