POSITION PURPOSE
The Trail Maintenance Worker assists in ensuring the ʔapsčiik t̓ašii multi‑use pathway is properly maintained and safe for public use. This position supports stewardship, maintenance, and monitoring of the trail system within Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ territory, working with other staff to carry out routine maintenance, safety inspections, and environmental care of the pathway.
Trail Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of the ʔapsčiik t̓ašii multi‑use pathway, including clearing debris, vegetation management, and minor surface repairs.
- Inspect trail conditions regularly and identify hazards such as fallen trees, erosion, drainage issues, and surface deterioration.
