Summary About the Position: Serves as a Traffic Management Specialist in the ARTRANS Terminal Operations Division, G3, with responsibility for the development, implementation and evaluation of cargo movement via sealift around the world. Responsibilities include a mastery of technical transportation skills applicable to the movement of all classes of cargo to include plans, concepts, operations, principles, readiness, systems, and methodology along with the skills and ability to communicate effectively. Responsibilities Performs a variety of management and transportation analysis work concerned with developing and implementing new policies and procedures. Provides transportation expertise related to defense transportation and logistics policy and issues. Researches and analyzes transportation policy, doctrine, public laws, rules and their regulatory documents for purposes of developing and recommending new policy and procedures.
