Responsibilities
Lead and manage traffic engineering projects from planning through execution. Design, analyze, and optimize traffic control systems including signals, signage, and road layouts. Conduct traffic studies, simulations, and data analysis to improve traffic efficiency and safety. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including urban planning, construction, and public agencies. Develop and implement traffic management strategies and policies. Ensure compliance with local, state, and national traffic regulations and standards. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff. Stay updated with advancements in smart traffic systems and transportation technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field.
