Job Description
We have a permanent opportunity based in Canning Vale for a Trades Assistant. In this role you will be responsible for assisting in performing scheduled maintenance on Corporation sewerage assets within the Mechanical and Electrical department.
What the role will involve:
• Receiving direction to work on specific components and follow work instructions/processes.
• Undertaking tasks onsite under direct or indirect supervision including:
o basic interpretation of drawings
o carry out inspections and record information
o perform assembly and dismantling operations, such as screwing or bolting
o transport tools, materials and work pieces to and from sites or workbenches
o cleaning and preparing working surfaces
• Carrying out operation and maintenance tasks requiring use of specialist tools, plant and equipment
