Associate Attorney – Intellectual Property

Dorsey & Whitney LLP is seeking an Associate attorney with two to four years of experience in the intellectual property field to join the Trademark, Copyright + Advertising department in the Minneapolis, New York, Denver, or Salt Lake City office.

Responsibilities

• Trademark strategy, clearance, prosecution, and enforcement matters, domestic and international.
• Copyright strategy, analysis and filings and handling digital content issues such as fair use, UDRP complaints and online enforcement and takedown requests.
• Drafting intellectual property related agreements such as licenses and rights transfer agreements.
• Assistance with due diligence in purchase, sale, and financing transactions that relate to intellectual property assets.
• Handling of opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (with litigation support as needed).
