Key Responsibilities
Ensure full compliance with Mexican customs laws and regulations (Ley Aduanera, Reglas Generales de Comercio Exterior, etc.) across all import/export operations.
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of customs compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
Oversee and manage customs brokers, ensuring proper classification, valuation, and documentation of imported/exported goods.
Coordinate audits and respond to inquiries from Mexican customs authorities (SAT, Secretaría de Economía).
