Summary This position is located in Natchez Trace Parkway, in the Division of Facility Management. A selectee receiving a first appointment to the Federal Government (Civil Service) is entitled only to the lowest step of the grade for which selected. The display of a salary range on this vacancy shall not be construed as granting an entitlement to a higher rate of pay. Responsibilities This position is located at the Natchez Trace Parkway in the Port Gibson Maintenance District, Port Gibson, Mississippi. The primary function of Tractor Operators during the main growing season, from spring to fall, is to mow and maintain the roadsides along the parkway and its access roads. This includes all aspects of maintaining the landscape including operation of tractors, 15' rotary mowers, zero turn and front-deck mowers, string trimmers, brush cutters, chainsaws, and other equipment.
