Job Description
Perform oxy-fuel torch cutting of metal components according to work instructions and specifications. Cut steel plates, structural members, pipes, and other metal materials accurately and safely. Prepare materials for fabrication, repair, maintenance, or disposal. Inspect cutting equipment before use and ensure it is in safe working condition. Maintain, clean, and perform basic maintenance of cutting torches, hoses, regulators, and related equipment. Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of gas cylinders and cutting equipment. Follow approved hot work procedures, permit requirements, and safety regulations. Maintain high-quality cutting standards while minimizing material waste. Keep the work area clean and free from fire hazards. Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance personnel to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Report defective equipment, unsafe conditions, or incidents immediately.
