Are you our new Tools Development Engineer for Automated Coating Application? Hempel is looking for a new colleague who can join our ambitious team. The role requires close cross‑functional collaboration to translate application needs into practical engineering solutions that can be tested, scaled, and implemented safely in the field. You will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Tool and Equipment Development

• Develop, prototype, and improve tools, fixtures, and support equipment for coating application processes, with focus on automated and semi‑automated solutions.
• Support design for manufacturability, assembly, serviceability, and safe operation in industrial coating environments.

Automation and System Integration

• Contribute to development of automated coating application concepts by integrating mechanical components, electronics, sensors, actuators, and control el...
