Job Overview
Position : Tooling Manager (Manufacturing AL&S team)
Location : Cd. Juarez, Mex; Plant 1.
Reports to : Plant Manager.
Responsibilities- Manage Tool Room staff and ensure compliance with plant safety regulations.
- Monitor department performance metrics (MTBF, MTTR, preventive maintenance compliance).
- Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and keep KPI charts updated.
- Control departmental budget and coordinate with suppliers for mold repairs and critical parts.
- Maintain updated databases and lead weekly meetings to analyze mold performance issues.
- Implement improvement plans, update SQDCM dashboards, and ensure proper machine/equipment function.
- Prepare damage and improvement reports, coordinate training, and guarantee proper mold validation and release.
