Job Description

As Tool and Die Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role servicing and repairing our press and mould tools. This role ensures our tooling operates efficiently and safely, while meeting strict quality standards to support continuous production needs. You will support the sites manufacturing operational efficiency, helping meet our business objectives. You will report directly to our Senior Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor and you will work out of our Southend location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Service/repair press tools, including both progression and single-operation systems.
  • Service/repair thermoplastic multi-cavity injection mould tools (hot/cold runner systems).
  • Service/repair thermoset compression and injection mould tools.
  • Diagnose and resolve tooling issues, conducting root-cause analysis, implementing corrective actions.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
