Lake Shore Gold is actively hiring Development Miners in Timmins, Ontario. This role focuses on proficient Jumbo operations and teamwork in a dynamic mining environment.
We are looking for skilled Development Miners for our Timmins West Mine and Bell Creek Mine. In this full-time position, you will utilize your experience to perform Jumbo drilling and manage a crew effectively. The role involves adhering to safety protocols while overseeing various aspects of underground work, including mucking and bolting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate Jumbo drills in underground settings
• Lead development crew in mining operations
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards
• Coordinate with Geologist on wall control
• Assist in drilling preparations and loading tasks
Requirements:
• 5 to 10 years of relevant mining experience
• Proficient in Jumbo and bolting operation
• Strong safety commitment and track record
• Basic UG Hard Rock Common Core skills
