The GTAW (TIG) Welding Instructor oversees daily program operations, delivering theory and practical instruction while providing learner support.

Responsibilities

• Oxy‑Fuel welding, cutting, and gouging.
• Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG).
• Fabrication and repair of tubular structures.
• Trade‑related math, measurement, blueprint reading, and documentation.
• Provide instruction on shop and workplace safety.
• Administer and oversee work practicum components, coordinating with industry partners.
• Provide instruction and supervision in general lathe operations and milling procedures (e.g., test plates).
• Ensure program compliance with industry standards.
• Continuously improve the TIG welding program, implementing necessary updates and changes.
