This role focuses on precision TIG (heliarc) welding of thin stainless steel to produce custom, short-run, prototype equipment for the food industry. You will apply advanced welding techniques and fabrication skills to create high-quality, food-grade components that meet strict specifications and standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform TIG (heliarc) welding on thin stainless steel components for custom, short-run, prototype equipment in the food industry.
+ Use MIG welding and wire feed processes as needed to support fabrication and production requirements.
+ Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and GD&T specifications to produce accurate and compliant weldments and assemblies.
+ Execute intricate welding processes, both by hand and using machines, to develop complex fabrications that meet closely prescribed standards.
