Job Description
THERAPY ASSISTANT - JOB DESCRIPTION (CONCISE & PRACTICAL)
- Assist therapists (physio/occupational/speech) in delivering treatment plans
- Support patients with exercises, mobility, and rehabilitation activities
- Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas before and after sessions
- Monitor patient progress and report feedback to therapists
- Ensure patient safety during therapy sessions
- Assist in daily living activities (e.g. walking, stretching, basic care)
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of therapy equipment and environment
- Record basic patient data and session notes as instructed
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients
- Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
