Job Description
- Assist resident through prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance overall physical function
- Assist PT and OT with the activities for resident
- Monitor treatment compliance and record developmental milestones or concerns
- Setup equipment for therapy session and ensure area is clean and safe
- Observe and report resident progress or challenges to the occupational therapist
- Support the occupational therapist during group therapy session
Requirements:
- WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support), or NITEC in Community Care & Social Services
- Min 2 years experience in healthcare or therapy
