Job Description
Operates a variety of wheeled and/or tracked military tactical vehicles with closed hatches in confined spaces during long periods for the purpose of test and evaluation. Interprets technical manual (TM) procedures and assists with all crew level preventative maintenance checks and services as described in the TM. Installs and secures payload in/on test vehicles and trailers as required for testing. Follows and adheres to the Crew Chief and test officer’s directives. Records test incident data, observations and maintenance actions in the Test Vehicle Daily Operations Log and reports test related information to the appropriate personnel.
