About the role

In this position, you will work as a consultant through Academic Work, placed at a world‑leading company specializing in grid solutions and renewable energy. You will join the New Product Introduction (NPI) team, focusing on the development and testing of advanced STATCOM products (Flexible AC Transmission Systems).

Work tasks

As a Test Engineer, your role is to ensure the quality and functionality of complex systems. Your responsibilities include:

• Testing & Validation: Performing software and FPGA validation testing and working within a medium voltage lab environment.
• Simulation: Utilizing Real‑Time Digital Simulator (RTDS) facilities to verify system performance.
• Planning: Contributing to the development of test plans and specifications for power electronics products.
• Collaboration: Coordinating activities across different teams and reporting progress to stakeholders.
