Serve your community as a Temporary Postal Delivery Agent, responsible for delivering mail and packages reliably. Engage with customers and handle deliveries adeptly in all weather.
In this on-call role, you will start each day by sorting mail and preparing for your route. You’ll be driving a postal vehicle, enabling you to reach customers efficiently. Your role is crucial for ensuring a smooth delivery experience while managing various outdoor conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and sort daily mail deliveries
• Load and operate a postal vehicle
• Deliver items to customers effectively
• Return to depot to unload mail
• Provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 or G driver’s license needed
• 3 years of safe driving record required
• Ability to lift heavy mail regularly
• On-call availability required
• Proficiency in English and/or French
