About the Role

Reporting to the Manager, Payroll Services, the Payroll and Pension Coordinator performs daily payroll operations for hourly and salaried employees in a multi‑union environment, maintaining accurate payroll records and responding to queries. The role also handles the full processing of OMERS & OTPP pension plans covering enrollment, status changes, leaves, retirements and resignations.

Key Duties

• Perform calculations of pay changes, retroactive pays, prorated salaries, terminations, leaves and FTE adjustments.
• Prepare, calculate, and verify payroll data for all employee groups to ensure accuracy.
• Audit payroll data against collective agreements, pension regulations and third‑party legislation.
