Job Description
The engineer will provide critical experimental support for the development and operation of low-temperature optical and microwave spectroscopy platforms for rare‑earth‑ion quantum memory systems. The role is essential to meeting project milestones related to long‑coherence quantum storage and spectroscopy measurements.
Responsibilities- Support QM CRP WP1 experimental activities on rare‑earth‑ion quantum memory materials.
- Perform optical and microwave spectroscopy measurements on erbium‑doped crystals at cryogenic temperatures.
- Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of laser, microwave, and cryogenic experimental systems.
- Participate in data acquisition, analysis, and experimental optimization.
- Support integration and testing of RF, microwave, and optical components.
