Job Description
Lead the design of telecom networks and circuits, ensuring the reliability, performance, and security needed to support real-time grid operations and future utility technologies.
Act as the Professional of Record (PoR) for internal designs and act as Owner’s Engineer for external engineering service provider submissions. You will ensure that every design meets stringent safety, technical, and regulatory requirements while maintaining the company's engineering excellence.
Provide design calculations, drawings and other installation and circuit implementation documentation for the construction of telecom infrastructure including microwave radio links, fiber optic networks, WiMAX radio network, Satellite communications, Power Line Carrier links, LTE, leased facilities, IP/MPLS networks, Digital cross-connect switches, SONET multiplexer, Tetra/VHF/UHF mobile radio, teleprotection, and -48 VDC power systems.
