Job Description & Requirements

Manages the daily issuance and receipt of tools, equipment, consumables and expendables that are maintained within the tool room. Keeping production equipment up and running.

Responsibilities

• Process the daily sign in/out of tools, test equipment, expendable materials, and consumable materials.
• Performs cyclic inventories of tools and equipment issued from the tool room.
• Inspect tools and kits for completeness in accordance with provided inventories.
• Identify broken tools, notify supervisor of tool orders, repair and replace tools in tools boxes and in the tool room.
• Submit items as directed to calibration and return them to the tool room as completed.
• Maintain stock locations and levels.
• Work closely with the Property Book section to maintain the sections Hand Receipt of issued items.
• Maintain the sections calibrated items (TMDE) schedule.
