Job Description
The Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation (NLHC) is looking for a Technical & Contract Administrator to manage and oversee maintenance, modernization, and community‑based housing projects across Labrador.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of residential properties to assess conditions, identify deficiencies, and evaluate life‑safety, structural, environmental, and accessibility requirements.
- Prepare scopes of work, specifications, cost estimates, and technical drawings (CAD); develop or review plans for a range of building types.
- Administer contracts and monitor projects to ensure compliance with contract documents, building codes, standards, and safety requirements.
- Evaluate progress claims, change orders, and prepare inspection and technical reports with recommendations.
