Job Description
Join to apply for the Technician 1 (HPW), Industrial Services role at GFL Environmental Inc.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive all client waste – both bulk liquids/solids and containerized.
- Take samples from waste vehicles and containers for lab analysis.
- Load and unload waste vehicles including vacuum trucks, tankers, straight trucks and van trailers.
- Operate plant machinery and assist with general maintenance.
- Control and monitor chemical reactions in chemical process reactors, storage tanks, etc.
- Control and monitor chemical handling equipment (pumps, compressors, blowers, boilers, air systems, etc.).
- Perform wastewater treatment and discharge according to our site‑specific Environmental Certificate of Approvals (ECAs) and associated compliance requirements from the Region of Peel.
