About the role
D-Wave is seeking a Technical Writer II to support our growth and continued product releases. In this role, you will join our team of technical writers and work closely with software, hardware, support, and marketing teams to research, create, and maintain customer-facing technical documentation. This includes API reference material, programming instructions, code examples, user guides, system administration guides, hardware documentation, training materials, error messages, release notes, and more.
To be successful in this role, you will develop a strong understanding of D-Wave's quantum computers, the Ocean Software Development Kit (SDK), and the Leap quantum cloud service through study of existing materials, hands‑on experience with D-Wave's products, and collaboration with technical subject matter experts.
