Job Description

We have a new role for a Technical Writer working within our Engineering Department. We envision that this would be a more junior member of a seasoned team, offering you the ability to learn and grow.

Initially the role will consist of:

  • Assisting with compliance documents and installation/ maintenance manuals for Sonar project requirements (Jira, MS Word)
  • Creating Information Sheets and Field Modifications to support mainstream broadcast equipment (Jira, MS Word, Adobe Acrobat)
  • Participating in Continuous Improvement activities, including AI initiatives (Jira, HTML, AI tools such as CoPilot)

    • Eventually the role will expand to:

  • Creating technical instruction manuals to support custom systems (Jira, MS Word, Adobe Acrobat)
  • Developing larger documentation suites (FrameMaker, Adobe Acrobat, HTML)
  • Working with Drafting Team to develop graphics for manuals (EngVault, eDrawings, MS Teams)
