Technical Officer role involves wildlife management, research and conservation of cassowaries, crocodiles, as well as native wildlife in Nth Qld.
The position requires specialist skills in identification, handling, measuring and data recording of native wildlife, specifically threatened species. The activities can be physically demanding and include survey and monitoring of threatened species in the field, emergency wildlife response, maintenance of field equipment and safety systems, and education and training.
