Job Description
Tech Lead Data Engineer / Data Architect (x2) – Contract
Location: Barcelona, Spain (hybrid/onsite as required)
Rate: ~€450/day (flexible for strong candidates)
We’re looking for 2 highly experienced Tech Lead / Senior Data Engineering Architects to lead the design and delivery of an enterprise-scale data platform. You’ll drive architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and work with stakeholders across multiple time zones to deliver secure, scalable, compliant data solutions for analytics and BI.
Must-have skills
- Data Mesh (core concepts and practical implementation)
- Snowflake (architecture, performance tuning, security, cost optimisation)
- AWS (hands-on delivery experience)
- dbt (ELT framework design and best practices)
- Strong Python and advanced SQL (complex query optimisation)
- Proven data engineering / data architecture background
