Job Description
· Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and existing customers
· Generate new business – including communication and cooperation with existing Sales Agents, Distributors, and End User customers; some existing business may also be allocated to this role depending on technical experience level
· Conduct daily sales calls with face-to-face meetings
· Communicate directly with customers and potential customers and provide technical specs and price quotes after discussion with company Estimating Dept. as well as communication with company Sales Manager
· Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
· Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
· Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally
· Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer’s specific needs
