Job Description
Overview
Ripley St Thomas CE Academy, Lancaster requires a Teacher Assistant 3 (TA3) to commence in September 2026. The role is a permanent post, 35 hours per week (term time only) with a salary range of £22,509 – £25,644 (30‑hour week) (full‑time equivalent of £28,142 – £32,061).
Responsibilities
The successful applicant will work as part of our Learning Support team to meet the needs of pupils, including those with Special Education Needs and Disabilities and those who have fallen behind age‑related expectations.
Requirements & Expectations
- Experience supporting pupils in an educational setting.
- Understanding of SEN and disability support.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Legally entitled to work in the UK.
