Job Description
Burbage Primary School is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team from September 2026 . This is a temporary, fixed-term position for one year with the possibility of becoming a permanent position, working 30 hours per week across five days .
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing and who can work effectively alongside teaching staff to help pupils thrive in the classroom and across school life. The successful candidate will support pupils individually and in groups, help promote independence, and contribute to high-quality learning and teaching. These responsibilities reflect the core purpose of the role set out in the attached job description.
