Position: MTSS Instructional Coach/Tier 1 Support Teacher

Reports To: School Building Principal
Part of: District Instructional Coaching Team

Location: Middle School
Job description: The MTSS Instructional Coach/Tier 1 Support Teacher will focus approximately 75% of their time on providing coaching support to other educators following the principles of adult learning theory. Supported by the guidance of school building principals, the MTSS Instructional Coach/Tier 1 Support Teacher will take the lead with monitoring curriculum, instruction, and assessment to determine the impact on student learning in their area of focus, ELA/Social Studies, Math/Science, or Social Emotional Learning.
