Job Description
Bring your expertise in teaching and counseling to South Peace Campus, Dawson Creek. This role uniquely blends student support with teaching for Grades 10–12, focusing on academic and emotional well-being.
Effective September 1, 2026, this position features one teaching block. The successful candidate will not only teach but also contribute to students' career exploration and social support, collaborating with school personnel to develop and implement programs tailored to student needs. Regular consultation with parents and the School Based Learning Services Team will be key in fostering student health and career awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support students’ academic and social/emotional well-being
• Assist in career exploration and timetabling
• Help develop and implement educational programs
• Meet regularly with parents for course and service selections
• Work with the Learning Services Team to promote health awareness
