Job Description
Empower students as an Ojibwe Language Teacher with York Region District School Board. Play a vital role in delivering Ojibwe language education aligned with the First Nation, Métis, and Inuit Education Strategy.
As part of YRDSB, you'll coordinate with the Regional Ojibwe Language Team, implementing culturally relevant content and fostering language fluency among students. Ideal candidates will have a strong teaching background in Ojibwe and an understanding of Indigenous cultural knowledge for effective delivery of the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver conversational Ojibwe language lessons every week
