Job Summary
Responsible for performing welding and grinding functions per job specifications. Selects equipment and plans layout and assembly of welding. Works closely with supervision and follows precise limits and accuracy standards. Able to weld in all positions: horizontal, vertical, flat, and overhead.
This role will be used to fill several vacancies for the AOC project near Conklin, AB, a current tank project. Applicants will not be welding all the time.
Schedule: 14 days on, 7 days off, 10‑hour days. Travel to site usually Monday, work starts Tuesday; travel back home Monday after a half day. Camp accommodations with paid travel after each shift cycle. Bussing provided. Must be available to start June16. Must possess a Journeyperson card or an active apprenticeship card with any provincial governing body; a copy will be required. Must successfully pass a weld test and D&A screen (conditions of employment) prior to start.
