Role Responsibilities

• Lead customer presentations
• System staging
• Complete system documentation
• Live system upgrades
• Ensuring the integrity of the architecture/design
• Carry out field engineering duties during a radio system upgrade cycle
• Upgrade/deploy various devices including network gear, Windows‑based devices, virtual machines and Motorola proprietary devices
• Act as a customer‑facing technical resource throughout the upgrade effort
• Travel to customer locations across Canada (50–75% travel)

Desired Knowledge / Skills

• Experience/knowledge in radio communication systems, radio propagation, RF, wireless or broadband/LTE
• Experience working with Project25 products (trunked and conventional)
• Experience with IP networking, network design methodologies, and troubleshooting (Ethernet, TCP/IP, L2/L3, MPLS)
