Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage and support AIX and IBM Power environments.
- Ensure high availability and reliability using GPFS and PowerHA cluster.
- Perform AIX performance monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning.
- Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.
- Implement AIX security best practices and access controls; drive hardening activities in line with organizational standards.
- Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory security frameworks and work with the compliance team to finalize and implement baseline security controls.
- Coordinate and execute patching activities across AIX environments, work with enterprise patching tools such as Satellite, and maintain and document the patch execution tracker.
- Collaborate with the Vulnerability Management team to analyze and remediate findings from Qualys reports; track, prioritize, and close security vulnerabilities within defined timelines.
