Job Description
Responsibilities:
Manage a team of supply chain analysts and purchasing in organizing and executing the procurement activities with the objective of achieving the most competitive price and effective supply chain for the organization.
Manage supplier base to ensure quality level, cost improvement and supply efficiency.
Coordinate with selected manufacturing sites to organize supply chain efficiency.
Develop strategies in conjunction with the goals assigned by the organization.
Assist in the establishment and implementation of department policies and procedures.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Support program and customer to achieve time to market requirement
Collaborate with other departments such as, commodity team and supplier development engineers to identify and qualify new suppliers.
Requirements:
Familiar with MRP systems, preferably Baan
Experience in handling electronics / electro-mechanical components
