This individual will serve as the primary liaison between Teal and its suppliers, ensuring product quality, process compliance, and supplier performance standards are consistently met.
The Supplier Quality Engineer will work closely with Manufacturing, Quality Inspection, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Engineering teams to identify supplier-related quality issues, communicate findings to vendors, and drive root cause corrective actions. This position plays a critical role in supplier qualification, first article inspection review, supplier performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives. They will partner with production and inspection teams to identify supplier-related defects and non-conformances, investigate supplier quality issues and drive Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities, communicate quality concerns, corrective actions, and performance expectations directly with suppliers.
