Summary This Supervisory Supply Technician position is located within the Supply Chain Management Service at the Boston VA Healthcare System, at the West Roxbury, MA campus. This position is full time at 40 hours per week. Responsibilities The primary purpose of the Supervisory Supply Technician position is to ensure that supplies and material are distributed to all areas serviced by Supply Chain Management. Duties include, but are not limited to: Directing, supervising and managing the primary inventory point that receives stores and issues supplies and materials. Supervising a team of supply technicians in the distribution area to provide supplies and material to the VA Healthcare System. Assigning work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
