Summary The Bureau of Labor Statistics measures labor market activity, working conditions, price changes, and productivity in the U.S. economy to support public and private decision making. The position is located in the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Office of Administration. Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide technical advice and consultation to BLS managers and operating personnel, contractors and agents, cooperating State agencies, and other Federal agencies involved in or affected by BLS statistical program confidentiality policies Direct reviews of program and administrative operations to determine compliance with legal, regulatory, and policy requirements Manage BLS activities related to the Freedom of Information Act, the Privacy Act, the Federal Advisory Committee Act, the Foundations for Evidence-Based Policymaking Act, and the Confidential Information Protection and Statistical Efficiency Act Evaluate proposed legislation, regulation...
